Katanya, masa-masa jaya, sebelum ada bencana alam tersebut, gak ada tuh listrik dimatiin dan kolam renang pun bisa dipake. Karna yang ke Sikuai itu bukan hanya yang nginep, tapi banyak orang Padang yang rekreasi ke Sikuai dari pagi, pulang sore.
